I was responsible for conducting the majority of inspection and quality control processes for the UPS steel manufacturing project for Polarkon company. My duties included: - Performing geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) checks during manufacturing to ensure compliance with project specifications. - Measuring and recording data related to the coating phase after the manufacturing process. - Evaluating the coating using various tests, such as: - Dry film thickness (DFT) measurements, - Pull-off adhesion tests, - Ambient air and surface temperature checks, - Salt and salinity tests. These steps ensured the quality and durability of the steel components met the required technical and coating standards.
