Job Description: Periodic Inspection and Testing of Work Equipment

As part of my responsibilities, I conducted periodic inspections and safety tests on various types of work equipment in compliance with national and international standards, including:

• TS EN ISO 12100 – General principles for risk assessment and risk reduction

• TS EN 60204-1 – Electrical equipment of machines

• TS EN 983 / TS EN ISO 4414 – Pneumatic systems and components

• Regulation on Health and Safety Requirements for the Use of Work Equipment (Turkey)

Scope of Work:

• Inspection and functional testing of pressure vessels such as air compressors, air tanks, and hydrofor units.

• Visual and mechanical checks on lifting and handling equipment, including cranes, forklifts, hoists, and hydraulic jacks.

• Electrical system inspections including grounding measurements, leakage current tests, and conformity checks with protective devices.

• Preparation of detailed inspection reports, documentation of non-conformities, and follow-up of corrective actions.

• Ensuring that all inspections were performed by authorized personnel using calibrated instruments, in accordance with legal deadlines and operational safety requirements.
